Whitsunday Island Camping Connection Pty Ltd, operates “SCAMPER” a 10mtr aluminum barge, surveyed to carry up to 34 passengers plus luggage and is designed to run up on the beach and drop campers/gear at their chosen National Park camp site.
SCAMPER is a high speed vessel, with a shallow draft and excellent maneuverability.
We offer transfers to independent travelers with the opportunity to visit and enjoy the Whitsunday Islands National Park camp sites at their own pace.
We operate 7 days per week (with some closure periods for Maintenance) from the water front at SHUTE HARBOUR, where SCAMPER is moored and our departure shed is located.
Shute Harbour is located approx 9 kms south east of Airlie Beach.
